This is how my great journey into the world of marketing began

1992

Graduated from the Faculty of International Trade at SGH in Warsaw.

 

Started working at the international company BENCKISER (now Reckitt Benckiser) as an Assistant Brand Manager in the laundry detergent category.

The first year was spent learning marketing, conducting marketing analyses, and presenting findings. Later, took responsibility for the first brands: Wir and Perła.
Eventually, managed the Bryza brand.

1995

Accepted a job offer from Tchibo Warszawa, the market leader in coffee, as Senior Brand Manager.

Gained insight into marketing from a corporate headquarters perspective—participated in multiple meetings at the Hamburg headquarters.

1997

Promoted to Head of Marketing, responsible for Poland and the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia).

 

Launched the Tchibo brand in the Baltic markets.

Participated in the project of developing a market entry strategy for Tchibo retail stores in Poland.

1998

Joined Leaf Poland as Marketing & Export Director for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

 

Introduced three new brands: AHA sesame snacks, Chałwa Królewska, and HOPS candies.

1999

Took over management of the Mynthon breath mint brand in the CEE region.

On March 24, 1999, while returning from a business trip to Belgrade, managed to catch the last flight to Vienna—saw NATO bombers launching the 78-day bombing campaign of Yugoslavia from the airplane window.

2000

Conducted the first marketing training session for the Altadis tobacco group titled “Fundamentals of Brand Management.”

2001

Received an offer from the CEO of Carlsberg Polska to become a coach for the Danish Marketing Director.

2002

Promoted to Marketing Director of Carlsberg Group.

Integrated the marketing departments of four breweries that merged into the group: Okocim, Kasztelan, Piast, and Bosman.
Developed a new brand portfolio strategy.
Implemented a consumer segmentation project based on need states.
Re-launched the Carlsberg and Okocim brands.

2003

Joined the Management Board of Carlsberg Polska as Vice President of Marketing.

 

Introduced the Harnaś brand, replacing Okocim Niebieski.
Re-launched Karmi with a new vision and marketing mix.

 

Became the fastest-growing beer producer in Poland!

2005

Left Carlsberg Polska and became an independent consultant.

Founded Akademia Marki and launched a proprietary marketing training program.

Began writing a column on practical marketing for Media & Marketing Polska magazine.
As a result of these trainings, received invitations to consult on strategic marketing projects.

2006

Worked on the TP brand strategy and Nestlé’s new ice cream lines.
Started a 4-year collaboration with Panasonic Poland.

Began teaching marketing in the International Executive MBA program at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School.

2007

Became the first Polish lecturer in the history of the Executive MBA program to receive the “Highest Ranked Professor” award, given by students.

 

The program was conducted in English, in partnership with London Business School, HEC School of Management in Paris, and the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

2008

Developed the Soraya brand strategy.
Designed a growth strategy for TVP’s internet television service.

2009

Panasonic Poland approved my idea for promoting new Lumix cameras with added value—a photography school on DVD. Produced 40,000 DVDs for this campaign.


Became a film producer, creating a one-hour photography documentary in England with landscape photography legend Charlie Waite.

2010

Developed a commercialization strategy for the new Wrocław stadium built for EURO 2012.

 

The DVD campaign became a huge sales success, leading to an invitation from Panasonic headquarters in Tokyo.

Published an article in Harvard Business Review Polska:
“21st Century Marketing: From Consumer to Community.”

2011

Developed a marketing strategy for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, supporting sustainable energy financing for SMEs in Poland (PolSEFF).

Worked on the BZ WBK rebranding strategy to Santander Bank.

2012

Developed the BZ WBK brand strategy.

 

 

 


Created a marketing strategy for Software Mind.

Combined a passion for landscape photography with an innovative product idea, launching the Tuscany Photographer’s Guide app on Apple’s App Store.

2013

Led the development of marketing strategies for sustainable energy financing programs in Morocco and Jordan.

 

Conducted consumer segmentation and brand portfolio strategy for Dobrowolscy, launching new products.

Following the success of the Tuscany app, developed new travel photography guides for Venice and London.

2014

After the success of PolSEFF, the EBRD launched a second edition of the program.

 

2016

Developed a promotion strategy for the Green Trade Facilitation program.
Traveled to Kyrgyzstan to secure banks for the initiative.

 

2018

Won a global strategy contract for Poland’s furniture industry brand, in partnership with Kantar.

Conducted research in China, Romania, the Czech Republic, Germany, and the UK.

The strategy was presented by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology at the Poznań Trade Fair in 2019.

2019

Became a marketing advisor for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, funded by the UK Department for International Development.

As a result of a longstanding passion for woodworking, designed a custom office furniture line under the Zendu brand.
Handcrafted furniture was purchased for the offices of top executives in Poland.

2021

Commissioned by the Management Board of Selena Group to develop a growth strategy for Selena USA, leading to a multi-month stay in the United States.

2022

Spent six months in Brazil, developing a growth strategy for Selena Sulamericana.

 

2023

Created a global portfolio strategy for adhesives and sealants.
Implemented new marketing standards and tools across the group.

Began work on a growth strategy for Dobrowolscy, developing a brand and product portfolio strategy and launching new products.

2024

I start working on my first online training course:

“Value Selling in Product Management.”
